This design was for SIP, or Stickler Involved People, a group that the president, Mike Cermak, of CermakTech is very much involved in.  He needed to update the design to their web site, so he came to me for a fresh makeover.

STARR FALLEN CHANGES NAME TO BRAVOS MEDIA

In January of 2007, Starr Fallen made a big move and officially changed its name to Bravos Media.  Bravos Media, LLC. (www.bravosmedia.com), located in Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania, offers a plethora of services, including award-winning Web Design and Development, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Identity and Branding, and Hosting.

History of a Fallen Starr

Sarah Camp has been running Starr Fallen since 2001.  It began as a freelance endeavor to create web sites on the side. Throughout the years, Starr Fallen became more and more of a full time occupation and earned Camp more of a variety of projects.  She made the company official in 2005, offering Web Design and Development, Graphic Design, and Identity and Branding solutions.  Starr Fallen expanded twice again in 2006, once partnering with RadioTower.net (Cermak Technologies, Inc.) to offer hosting, and the second time expanding to offer 3D rendering services.

The Evolution of a Name

In November of 2006, Camp began the search to find a name that better described the quality service offered.  Starr Fallen had begun as a service to musicians and artists, and had grown to cater to all sorts of business types.  The name not only had to reflect the company in a positive way, but also imply that more services were offered besides design.

In late December, just in time for the New Year, Camp decided on Bravos Media (the implication being that one would receive shouts of “Bravo!” in response to their project when employing Bravos Media).  The name was successful in conveying both a positive image, and encompassing everything the company had now grown to offer.

Bravos Media Business Cards

Of course, every once in a while I have to do design for my own company as well.  Especially when it undergoes a major change - like changing the name of the company from Starr Fallen Interactive to something more professional like Bravos Media.

I designed these business cards to supplement that change.  We used Overnight Prints to have them printed. They have received a great response from clients and potential clients.
